Hi, I’m Julie Faith. I have a special eye condition, which is having a severe “Amblyopia” since birth and a developed “Strabismus” on my left eye.
After a year of attending my therapy sessions at VSI, I am now able to use and have control on my left eye through the help and care of all the people involved in my therapy, especially Doc Maia Uy and Doc Charlie Ho, where you can never feel like an ordinary patient but also a friend.
The VSI made a big positive impact in my life, they gave me hope and helped me to regain the confidence that I’ve lost when my strabismus occurs.
Although, I’m still in the process of learning new things to improve my eye condition, there are some days/episodes that my eyes are aligned and I can now read and identify letters and even do some small things using my amblyopic eye.
