In view of the specialized services rendered by the consultants at VSI, the state-of-the-art equipment, variety in cases successfully managed and a well-structured courses, the VSI is fast becoming the preferred internship site of major/top Optometry schools in the Philippines, These are: Centro Escolar University, Manila Central University, Davao Doctors College, Mindanao Medical Foundation College and Lyceum Northwestern University. 

The VSI is the only internship site that provides students exposure to multiple specialty areas in optometry such as pediatric optometry (orthoptics, developmental and behavioral), neuro-optometric rehabilitation, vision therapy, low vision and sports vision.
