He worked as sports vision consultant to both the POC and PSC and worked with sports science professionals to train national athletes improve  their visual and brain skills. He worked with several Olympians and professional basketball teams and trained the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) Referees.

Dr. Charlie Ho, is the President of the Vision Science Institute, which was organized to give optometrists opportunity for post-graduate specialty training. In 2015, he was elected to serve his 4^th term as President of the Integrated Philippine Association of Optometrists, Inc. starting June 2017.     

Dr. Ho is considered the pioneer of sports vision practice in the Philippines has introduced Sports Vision as a major subject in the Optometry curriculum and has been in practice for twenty (20) years. He was the first sports optometrist to be recognized by the major sports bodies like the Philippine Olympic Committee (POC) and the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC).
